December 2018: Marapong Medical Outreach











Marapong is one out of the 39 barangays of Sergio Osmena Sr. It is an hour drive away from the municipality's poblacion.

Barangay Marapong's NDP nurse, Mr. Tonyo Lagod invited the group to conduct a lecture on HIV and on drugs for their Youth Summit last December 12, 2018 with the theme "Kapobrehan og Kalisod Dili Babag sa Pagkab-ot sa Maayong Ugma".

This occassion also served as a medical outreach in coordination with the Local Government Unit and Department of Social Welfare and Development.





Team Venus is thankful for the barangay's hospitality, for the Rural Health Unit's invitation and of course for uncle Gagang's safe driving. Fun fact: Barangay Marapong's 13 rivers was featured in Kapuso mo Jessica Sojo. Disclaimer: the river wasn't flooding when we went there and everyone's safe.
