Experiences

What I loved about our Community Exposure is meeting children and getting to know their names, their favorite color, favorite food, their dreams and ambitions. I get inspired when they say that they wanted to become like me, a doctor, some wanted to become a teacher or a policeman.

My community experience mainly involved kids. Some kids who went over our house calling me their "mama", some kids come with us during our surveys and some kids we visit on their homes (because they are not capable of coming to us yet and soon enough, they will).

These kids, like us, vary in their attitude, they vary from aggressive to abusive or passive to apathetic. But kidding aside, although majority of the people I know do not like kids because they are (by fact) annoying, these kids are the perfect people who could give you honest opinions about simple things in life.

These kids will be my inspiration in becoming a successful Pediatrician someday.
