April-MAY 2019: PUROK-BASED PET BOTTLES RECOVERY FACILITY

Last month, our team planned on putting up a facility for plastic bottles in our barangay's covered court. "Be, bote nga", as it was named, was inspired by the main crop produced in Barangay Venus - the "corn".

It was turned over during the WA.S.H. Assembly together with the MENR officer - Mr. Melvin Ando. As per the suggestion of our community coordinators, "be, bote nga" is now purok-based.

4/4 plastic bottles recycled bins are now strategically found on each purok centers of the barangay. The construction of the additional recovery facilities were initiated by the medical students and then were made possible by our beloved barangay councilors.

We are eternally grateful to the following konsehals of our barangay headed by Hon. Renie boy Escribano - Hon. Jimmy Paundog, Hon. Ferwen Borling, Hon. Felomino Paculba Jr. & Hon. Stela Palionay of Purok Jupiter. Hon. Alex Pasa and Hon. Tito Magallanes of Purok Mars. Finally, Hon. Fretzel Subasos & Hon. Roberto Palomares.
