As an initiative to reach 100% proper waste segregation, our team conducted a purok-based nylon sack printing. It was a 3-day activity which started at Purok Jupiter, then followed Purok Mars & Purok Uranus. Around 40 pairs of nylon sacks were printed during the 3-day activity.
Attendance were checked for proper documentation.
Environmental Sanitation - Improper Solid Waste Management ranked first amongst 7 identified community health problems in Barangay Venus. Various activities have been done to reach the goal of 100% proper waste segregation including WACS, assemblies, series of lectures & workshops, recycling activities, contests, sack printing, promotion of use of ecobags thru ordinances, construction of recovery facilities, coordination with local junkshops and procurement of plastic shredder & molder.
