Health Board, Dialect, Communication, and Recreation

For the health aspect, Venus has their Community Health Team manned by the Barangay Health Board which is both headed by the barangay captain as the chairperson and midwife as the vice chairperson. It is the community health team’s responsibility to monitor the health status of each household.

The residents in Venus speak Visayan and some subanen residents use their native dialect. Barangay activities are relayed to the people thru the purok leaders and the community people utilize mobile phones, televisions and radio as their mode of communication.

Majority of the recreation of the residents in Venus involves playing basketball and volleyball, watching television, karaoke, and listening to the radio.
