In order to impart the importance of vegetable gardening to promote nutrition among elementary students in barangay Venus, a school vegetable garden was proposed to school officials and teachers at Venus Elementary School. Coordination with the Municipal Agriculture Office was also done to request for vegetable seeds for the school garden.
Students from Grades 4-6 will be divided into 5 groups and the most well maintained vegetable garden will be rewarded during the January 2018. Mechanics of the said competition was sent to school officials to properly document the progress of the school garden. This project aims to promote the importance of a vegetable garden to achieve good nutrition.
