Barangay Venus is headed by Hon. Amparo Butalid as their barangay chairwoman with the help of her 7 Barangay kagawads, 1 Barangay secretary and 1 Barangay treasurer.
Seven mayors including the incumbent shaped the history and development of the Municipality of Sergio Osmeña. The first mayor, Hon. Lorenzo Collera, a former official of the Philippine Constabulary served from June 22, 1963. After years of progress and development, the municipality is on its way to achieve higher goals with the leadership of the current Mayor Richard Magsalay.
